T&Y Consultancy was founded in 2016 to serve the unmet training needs to firms located in Iskandar Malaysia and beyond. Its mission is to improve the practice of management and its impact in a changing world.
The company achieves its mission in three market groups: Graduate education with Raffles University, professional development with Malaysian Institute of Accountants and ACCA. The finance courses on offer are certified by Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC) and claimable under Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF).
Through these platforms, T&Y Consultancy is able to influence real-world change by maximising the reach and impact of its essential offering – ideas!
Our Management Team

Oliver is a highly accomplished Chartered Accountant and Principal Consultant with a history of reducing costs, improving corporate financial operations, and increasing profitability. He has over twenty years’ experience with significant exposure in directing financial functions and projects for large, multi-national companies and managing audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance functions.
Currently, Oliver is the Principal Consultant with T&Y Corporate Consultancy Sdn. Bhd. Before setting up his own consulting practice, he worked with a S&P Europe 350 Ireland-based multi-national company in the fast moving consumer goods industry as the Regional Treasury Manager, Asia Pacific. He supported the Group Treasurer to lead the regional treasury team across 16 countries with a combined revenue of EUR 1 billion. He conducted treasury due diligence for mergers and acquisitions with valuation above EUR 220 million and was actively involved in managing currency exposure and related hedges.
Prior to this, Oliver was the Project Controller and Senior Manager of the largest and Fortune Global 500 Swiss-based cement supplier for the construction industry. His work involved extensive cost and expense control management, issue resolution, financial reporting, and forecasting. He was chosen to oversee all financial activities for a USD 500 million green field semi-turnkey cement plant construction initiative, during which he identified cost reductions and improved efficiency by creating corporate best practice.
He is a Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF) certified trainer and teaches MBA programme at Raffles University. Oliver also conducts certified finance courses for the Securities Industry Development Corporation (SIDC). His training customer portfolio includes Fortune Global 500 companies and emerging regional firms. He has conducted public, in-house and HRDF claimable trainings.
Oliver is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accuntants (FCCA), a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institutte of Accountants (MIA) and an Associate Member of Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia (CTIM). Oliver is also a Member of the American Finance Association (AFA). He holds a Master of Business Administration (UniSA) and a Bachelor of Accountancy (Nanyang). He is also a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Detail-driven and multicultural chartered accountant, an Australian CPA and is fluent in English, Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa Indonesia. Serena possesses more than ten years’ experience in manufacturing and public accounting environments. She is well-versed with SAP-Finance and Controlling ERP systems.
Serena started off her career with a rigorous training in International Financial Accounting Standards and International Standards on Auditing. She gained her initial industry experience as an Accountant with a leading premium multinational manufacturer of eight global brand cooking products. Subsequently, she was in a managerial role with a large, KLSE-100 public listed company with revenue exceeding MYR 1 billion. In this role, she has provided coaching and training to her team that proved to be effective in raising the accounting department’s efficiency.
Serena is a Member of Certified Practising Accountant of Australia (CPA Australia) and a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA). Serena has earned a Bachelor of Business (La Trobe).
